Barbie & Ken must be really popular in Tacoma! Not a single B & K cake topper to be found--so I got the next best cake topper. Kind of reminds me of MJ and Hal, don't ya think?

Flying Salmon

Our fish purveyor-the company that provides fish for the restaurant--is shipping a wild king right to MJ's house. Jerry wanted to carry it on but I could just see it not clearing security at the airport.

TSA to the fish: "Excuse me, sir. I need to see your boarding pass and ID and take your shoes off."

Gift for MaryJean

Everyone is welcome to join in on a gift certificate to The Market restaurant. I understand that this is one of MJ's favorites.

Contributions will also be possible to cover the cost of 2 cakes....yes, 2! MJ and Hal's 35th wedding anniversary is June 29th, so on Sunday we are going to surprise them with a wedding cake.

The BIG party is on June 27th! Here are the details so far:

Jerry will oversee the cooking of a nice piece of meat and a salmon that he is bringing from Washington.

I will make a Quinoa Salad and a green salad.

We need volunteers for:

Appetizers
Veggies
Potato/Rice

I will talk to Betsy & Katie about ordering a cake.

We will need beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages.
